The Court of Cassation ruled that printing name on cheques without being signed does not hold the person liable for the offense of ‘issuance of blank cheques’. Hence, the Court of Cassation found that a ruling issued by the Magistrate Court holding a woman liable for printing cheques under her name, without having them signed, is in fact contrary to the law.
